Important information

• Check-in time: 4pm – 9pm *Please let us know arrival time in advance
• Check-out time: Before 11am *Please let us know when you leave
• All guests are requested to register in the provided form their name, address, passport number, nationality and occupation as the hotel business law.
• Traditional Japanese townhouses are becoming quite rare and in order to preserve the townhouses, smoking includes e-cigarettes and any kind of naked flame is forbidden on the premises.
• Komachiya is an old building with some low beams and staircases where both children and adults will need to take due care and attention. We ask that you understand the nature of the building and understand that we can take no responsibility for any accidents that occur while you stay at Komachiya.
• We sadly cannot accept pets or groups of unaccompanied minors.
• We ask that if any damage to the building or its contents is caused by the guests, they report it to us immediately. We will then assess the damage and decide to what extent the guest is liable to the costs.
• If you lose or removed our bicycles, we ask you to pay 5,000-20,000 yen per bicycle (including removal fee). Please use bicycle parking.
• Komachiya is part of a terraced section of housing and sound does travel through the walls. Please try not to make too much loud noise while staying at Komachiya as this will inconvenience the neighbors.

Cancellation charges

Please inform us of cancellation of reservation at least 20 days before the first day of your stay. ※After deducting the cancellation fee and transfer charges we will refund your money to your account.
