By subway:

From JR Kyoto station take the Karasuma line to Karasumaoike station, then take the Tozai line to Higashiyama station. Komachiya is 1 min walk from exit #2.

By bus:

Leave JR Kyoto station by the Karasumaguchi exit and you will find the Kyotoekimae bus stop. All the following buses go directly to Higashiyama Sanjo. Komachiya is 2 min walk from this stop.

Go through the East ticket barrier and leave the station by the 1A exit. A taxi from here will take 5-10 mins depending on traffic.

By bus:

Take the No. 201 bound for Gion and Hyakumamben. Get off at Higashiyama Sanjo. Komachiya is 2 min walk.

By Car

Komachiya is close to the Higashiyama Sanjo intersection. About 6 km from the Meishin Kyoto Higashi Interchange and about 9km from the Meishin Kyoto Minami Interchange.
